2012 AP Registration Information:
- The Registration site has now closed.
Lafayette will be going to JCMS and LTMS to administer the placement exam on Thurs., March 22. We will go to SCAPA on Mon., March 26.

- The newest edition of the Lafayette High School literary magazine, "The Laurel: Winter Edition," is available for purchase for only $2 from creative writing teacher Ms. Carole Johnston or by going to LHS room 303.
- Submissions are being accepted now for the spring edition of "The Laurel," which will be published in May. Anyone may submit art or writing to Ms. Johnston in room 303 or by email to laurelmagazine@hotmail.com. "The Laurel" meetings are on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend.

- COMMONWEALTH DIPLOMA UPDATE: At its October meeting, the Kentucky Board of Education agreed to extend the Commonwealth Diploma program for one additional year. However, students who are juniors in the 2011-12 school year (Class of 2013) will not be reimbursed for Advanced Placement (AP) exams taken to meet the criteria for the diploma. Students who are seniors in the 2011-12 school year, will be reimbursed for those AP exams. For additional information regarding the Commonwealth Diploma, please go to: www.education.ky.gov

Volunteer Information:
- All new volunteers (or those who applied in 2007 and back) need to complete the volunteer application at http://www.fcps.net/administration/departments/community-support/family-involvement
Triumph College Admission (TCA) Online ACT Preparation:
- FCPS has subscribed to an online study guide site for the ACT for all district high schools. To access the site, students will need the 8-digit Infinite Campus number which will serve as the username and as the password.
- TCA Prep is now offering small group courses and private tutoring delivered online to compliment our StudyGuide for the SAT/ACT
